The brief
The operator needed a clear planning strategy for adapting an ordinary semi-detached house into a small children's home. The project focused on fitting the care brief within the existing building and demonstrating how the use would sit alongside neighbouring homes.

We developed the accommodation drawings and coordinated the operator's staffing, visitor and overnight arrangements. This established a consistent basis for the application, with the layout and management information describing the same proposed operation.
Addressing access and daily activity
The submission explained how parking, staff handovers, visitors, deliveries and garden use would be managed. We responded to planning queries with coordinated drawings and operational information, keeping the proposed external appearance residential.
