Modern Contemporary New build

This contemporary new-build home was designed to provide generous, light-filled family accommodation within a confident architectural composition.

The front elevation combines crisp white render with natural vertical timber cladding, dark-framed glazing and carefully articulated roof forms. A dramatic two-storey glazed gable brings natural light deep into the property and gives the home a strong visual identity, while the lower entrance and garage elements help break down the overall scale.

The material palette was intentionally restrained. Natural timber introduces warmth and texture, while the white render and dark architectural detailing create a clean, contemporary finish. Large windows establish a strong connection between the interior and landscaped surroundings without compromising privacy.

The result is a modern family home that balances architectural character, practical everyday living and a considered relationship with its residential setting.

Design approach
The design uses contrasting building volumes and roof forms to create a contemporary interpretation of a traditional pitched-roof house. Glazing is concentrated around the principal living spaces, while timber cladding visually connects the different parts of the building.
