Contemporary Care Home Extension

The client needed extra beds in his existing successful Care Home based in Kidderminster. We were appointed to amend an existing planning scheme and rationalise its design and useability. The proposal is single-storey and set with low massing to overcome the planning stipulation of keeping the proposal as low as possible due to the properties behind etc. We came up with this design which introduces a contemporary extension to a traditional Care Home which we feel creates a great addition to this property.
